For the past eleven years, the GRLAFF has brought award-winning independent Latin American films to the Grand Rapids community. Year after year we have enjoyed in-person interactions with students, guest directors, and members of the community. Due to the pandemic, the Festival was held virtually in 2020 and will be so again in April 2022.

The mission of the Grand Rapids Latin American Film Festival is to foster a nuanced understanding of Latin American and Latino experiences through the art of film, to provide opportunities for constructive dialogue across cultures, and to enrich the social fabric of our community.
