Christine Pruden
Grand Valley State University
Christine Pruden grew up in Washington, DC. and lived in Paris, France, for sixteen years. Since her return to the U.S., she has completed a Master’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature. She currently teaches French at Grand Valley State University while at the same time she is finishing a Master’s thesis in which she explores the relationships between frontiers and identity creation in medieval Spain. Her interest in Latin American film was sparked during a six-month stay in South America; she has been an enthusiastic follower of the GRLAFF since its inception, and she is thrilled to be able to participate as a member of the organizing committee this year.
